Refresher Course - Local Reef, Khaolak
The Scuba Review program begins with completing a Scuba Diving Guide. Then get in the water to practice and review your basic scuba diving skills. Your instructor will demonstrate and have you practice 15 different basic diving skills in the pool or at sea.
This program will take half a day. Morning in the pool and head out to Khao Na Yak dive site near the shore by doing 2 dives (time 8.00-15.00). The maximum diving depth is between 9m-15m.
If you have a small number of dives or haven't dived in more than a year. We highly recommend this course. Note that for Similan and Surin divers trips We require divers to have dived within the past year.

Discovery Scuba Diving - Local Reef, Khaolak
Discover what diving is all about! A quick and simple introduction
This 1-day program is just for fun. Experience the thrill of scuba diving at a shallow coral reef. Also available for Juniors aged 10-14 years
What will I do?
Theory: You will start with an online video, followed by a short chat in the classroom. Here your instructor will tell you a little bit about scuba diving and we review some important safety rules. We look at the 4 simple skills you will learn in the pool and show you the scuba equipment.
On-site Swimming Pool: We will help you put on your scuba gear and then you’ll take your first breaths underwater! You will practice four easy but essential diving skills. After that, you’ll have time to swim around and get used to the equipment.
Dive in the Sea: We will take you for two real dives in the sea!
Where will I dive?
Khao Nayak, our local house reef
This is a shallow reef. However, you’ll still see colorful fish and coral. You will do two dives, with a maximum depth of 9m. Your instructor will be right by your side the whole time. This means you can relax and enjoy the experience
You can do more DSD dives. If you dive again with Sea Dragon within 2 weeks you won’t have to re-do the pool training. The maximum depth will be 12m.

Scuba Diving ever wondered what it’s like. The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is designed so you can learn to dive and experience the underwater world without taking a course if you’re short on time on your holiday in Khao Lak. Your instructor will teach you the basic theory about diving and will familiarize you with the scuba equipment that you will be using.
Your instructor will take you on an experience you will never forget to a depth of 12m maximum on a controlled safe dive in the ocean. If you want to carry on your adventure, Discover Scuba Diving can count towards PADI Scuba Diver and PADI Open Water Diver course.
