Similan Dive Boats Schedule (Available: October 15th to May 15th)
The Similan Islands and Surin Islands National Park are open for exploration from October 15th to May 15th each year. During the off-season, many divers choose Phuket, where we offer day trips throughout the entire year.
Best Time to Dive
Depending on your holiday schedule in Thailand, our scuba diving liveaboards, lasting more than 2 days, always commence in the evening. This allows you to enjoy your day before departure, and the cruise to the Similan Islands takes place overnight. We accommodate airport pickups from Phuket on the departure day and provide ample time for customers to arrive from their previous destinations. Our liveaboards, ranging from 2 days 1 night to 5 days, offer onboard comfort. Relax on the sundeck, read a book in the saloon, or have meaningful conversations with your dive instructor or buddy.
Choosing the Right Trip
If you're visiting Thailand specifically for diving, our recommendation is a Similan liveaboard of 4-5 nights (15 dives). This comprehensive program covers popular dive spots such as Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock, Surin Islands, and local wrecks. For those with limited time in Khao Lak, day trips or 1-2 night options are available on speedboats or flexible liveaboards.
Diving Level Considerations
Most of our Similan liveaboard dive boats welcome divers of all levels. Some even offer the PADI Open Water Course on board. Certified divers should be aware of prerequisites for certain trips, with some boats requiring certification to 30m. For those uncertified, options like the Adventure Deep Dive or Advanced course are available onboard. Additionally, it's generally required that you've dived within 1 year of departure, recognizing the variance in dive frequency among experienced divers.
